Ichiro vs Dice-K - The Trilogy
Here they go again.
Dice-K loves this matchup.
I think he relishes the opportunity to face Suzuki, and always performs well. And to nobody’s surprise, he was ripping it today. But Ichiro got his revenge on the Dice-man this day, by ripping single off Dice-K in the third to bring home the games first run.
By no means was Dice-K bad on this day, he whiffed 8 batters over 8 innings gave up only three hits and one run.
His record was unscathed by the eventual 2 - 1, 11th inning loss; but the lack of Boston Red Sox batting has taken its toll on his 9 - 5 record.
I swear he should be 13 - 2.
