It might have took 7 starts, but ladies and gentleman, THE DICE-MAN COMETH!
This is the hundred million dollar man we thought we were getting.
We have to take into context the situation that Daisuke Matsuzaka has been put in, 2 starts vs the Yankees, 2 vs division rival Toronto Blue Jays and another against the other best team in the American League. No pitcher, NOT ONE, has been subjected to the competition and pressure of the Dice man.
And he has actually only ONE bad start. Thats it. Heres what I’m saying:
This dude is for real.
With a no walk, 6 hit, 1 ER and COMPLETE FRICKIN GAME against the 23 - 13 Detroit Tigers, this was truly Dice-K’s coming out party.
