Dice-K Game #4
Pre-Game - I feel the flow tonight.
Inning #1 - I SAW A GYROBALL!!! They even pitch-tracked it and slo-mo’d!! It does exists! Its a changeup that spins like a football and its glorious! Dice-K also beaned A-rod and that was pretty damn awesome.
He doesn’t seem to get ANY love at all from the umps on his close pitches and I think this frustrates the hell out of Dice-K. As soon as a tight call went against him, he ended up walking Abreu and hitting A-rod then giving up a hit. As soon as he settles down its lights out again. 2 runs on one hit.
Inning #2 - Meintkeiwicz flies out. Cabrera flies out. Willy Mo showing his jets out in center. Nieves out on a straight shot to Lowell at third, a seven pitch second inning for the Dice-Man.
Inning #3 - Satan himself singled, but the big guns hit the dirt as Dice-K struck out A-Rod and Abreu.
If we had some fielding this would still be a shoutout! Cano strikes out but with one more ER
Inning #4 - Meintkeiwicz doubles, Cabrera gounds out to advance the runner. Dice-K is settling in. Neives lines out and Dice-K is dialed! Johnny Demon grounds out. Very NICE! I LIKE!
Inning #5 - A dinger to Jeter? Is it just me or does Jeter siwing like a nine year old girl? Dice-K Really has Abreu’s number today. And he SITS DOWN A-ROD! This kid is a strikout machine! Giambi with a pop out and we’re all tied up.
Inning #6 - Gave up a run. …
Inning #7 - Damon done. SO #6. Jeter grounds out. Abreu goodnight! SO #7
Inning #8 - He obviously feels great because Dice-K only leaves games when HE wants to, so he must be feeling it. He surrendered a hit to A-Rod, he sits in wait of his Second win. C’mon boys, he deserves this!!!
Well it looks like Papelbon sealed it with another helluva performance. Dice-K Desrved it.
