Dice-K Game #12
Only giving up 2 earned runs isn’t enough to get a W with these slumping Red Sox bats these days.
After battling through remnants of the flu and two shaky outings, Dice-K bounced back with a 7 hit, 2 ER and 8 K 7 inning showing against the A’s and walked away with a big fat L.
The problem was that the Sox could only muster up 3 hits against Oakland and essentially left the Dice-man out to dry as he battled to regain control after a smattering of bad outings.
