Pre-Game: It’s a bit cold out in KC but little do the Royals fans realize that a single gyroball contains enough energy to power a a ceiling fan for nine days, so things should heat up momentarily.
Inning #1: Dice-k gave up one hit, one walk and got Brown to ground into a double play.
Inning #2: Dice-k is warming up, three up three down. Has a gyroball been thrown? I don’t believe so because i have not heard the earth rumble yet.
Inning #3: Another three up, three down! Dice-k is getting into the groove. Tossed a couple of fastballs this inning, topped out at around 94mph. No Gyroballs, he is stalking his prey like a panther before he unleashes.
Inning #4: Another Inning of sheer unadulterated awesomeness! STRUCK OUT THE SIDE!
Inning #5: BAM!! Gave up 2 hits but locked it in to strand both runners, and save a busload of orphans from plummeting off a bridge.
Inning #6: A bit of trouble for the Dice-man, but he stared down the dragon with his poker face but gave up his first run in a major league start. Judging from his reaction, that might be the last one we’ll see.
Inning#7: Shablammo!!!!!! 2 more K’s.
Dice-k is done. Amazing performance overall. 10 frickin k’s! holy crap!
